Why we play
It started with one very early arrival.
In July 2022, Stephanie Gulau was in a car accident while pregnant. Her son, Chance, was born six weeks early and spent several weeks in the NICU at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.
They both came home healthy. That is not an accident — it is the result of nurses who did not leave, doctors who did not blink, and equipment that was there because someone, years earlier, paid for it.
Birdies Fore Babies is how the Gulau family says thank you, and how we make sure the next family gets the same answer.
